as managing director of implantcast GmbH I’m happy to welcome you on our homepage. Interesting and exiting years have passed since the foundation of the implantcast Feinguss GmbH in 1988.

In the first decade we were mainly focused on developing one of the most successful modular tumor system MUTARS^®. More and more products made by implantcast became present and known in the market. As an OEM partner of well known orthopedic companies we manufactured endoprosthetic systems for almost every joint replacement behind the scenes.

At the beginning of the 2nd decade, when a rising numbers of fusions and takeovers were seen throughout the orthopedic business, implantcast changed its strategy which finally is a success story. implantcast GmbH developed and launched more than 40 different implant systems successfully and is actually providing implants and instruments to the hospitals directly. In Germany service is provided by a well educated sales team, internationally more than 35 independent companies are acting as distributors.

One of our major goals is to increase the numbers of high quality products nationally and internationally in order to become one of the market leaders worldwide. Thus we actually enlarge the manufacturing site in Buxtehude by app. 1.700m², a mandatory step to meet the growing demands and actual industrial standards. The new building will offer enough space for new production processes and the new logistic centre. implantcast trusts in highly motivated employees. implantcast is intentionally manufacturing only in Buxtehude in order to keep the quality and the quality control on a high level. The growth of the past years strengthens our belief that manufacturing in low-wage countries is no alternative for implantcast.
