The design of the Ceraco acetabular component is incorporating several design features to meet a wide range of indications as well as to address the issues of wear debris generation. By means of the rim locking mechanism the PE liners lock perfectly into the cup. The special “low profile” design enhances the equatorial PressFit which increases with the increasing cup diameter. The rough cpTi and Bonit® coating increases the equatorial PressFit. Several screw holes allow additional fixation. The screws can be angled up to 15 degrees. Non used screw holes will be cover by tapered hole covers.
