The conical, rectangular design of the DiaLoc^® hip system provides the high rotational and primary stability. The cortical force transmission extends accross the metaphyseal and diaphyseal region of the femur. The anatomical design of the inward curved region of the stems supports the PressFit anchorage in the proximal femur.

The size grading of the DiaLoc^® implants has been chosen such that the stem size can be adapted optimally to the anatomical occurrences of the patient. 12 sizes of the standard version and 7 sizes of the lateralised version are available. The neck angle of the standard stems is 131°, the lateralised  DiaLoc^® stems have got a neck angle of 127°.

The very rough surface of the stems consisting of a TiAl₆Nb₇ casting alloy supports the secondary osteointegration.
